I had the shrimp and grits which has won best of for past nine years I was told. It was excellent and is a little spicy.

We visited for dinner and this was one of the best dining experiences I have had while traveling. Our waitress was well versed in how the kitchen handles food/cross contamination for people with celiac and other allergies. I felt super comfortable dining here and all of the food was delicious. Highly recommend!!

Delicious shrimp and grits! Clearly marked as GF along with a few other options. They do not offer any bread substitutes for sandwiches or burgers, and no pasta options. Willing to make changes to some menu items that can be made gf friendly, but it is omitting ingredients, not substituting anything. Typical GF safe options of salad or main course meat or fish. 4 of 5 stars for very few gf options, but what is safe is clearly marked and was very tasty. I didn’t get sick, and have eaten same dish both times I’ve eaten here. I did tell server I am celiac and he marked my entree for the kitchen to be extra safe.

I had a fabulous meal here! I got the salmon and it was delicious! I also was able to get crème brûlée for dessert!! Took appropriate precautions and made me feel safe. I’d go here again!

I had the paella and my husband had the seared chicken. Both we gluten free and both were delicious. Our waitress shared that most of their food is naturally gluten free. She also stated that the only thing they fry is fries, but we did not have those so I don’t want to attest to their safety.

Shrimp and grits were amazing! They don’t have a gf menu but staff was knowledgeable and let us know that almost everything on the menu is gf or can be made gf.

Shrimp and grits and paella were outstanding. The shrimp and grits are rated best in the city and they stood up to their name! After talking to the owner, effectively the entire menu is inherently gluten free.

The menu is not marked but the server was very knowledgeable. I had the fried plantains and the shrimp & grits. Both were excellent, and I had no issues at all. Our server was also delightful and the drinks were fantastic too!

Very knowledgeable about celiac. Had the fried plantains which were safe and absolutely delicious! Fries are made in dedicated fryer as well. Shrimp and grits were good too. Highly recommend!!

The menu says most of the menu can be made gluten free but keep in mind that does not mean any gluten free bread of buns, it regards lettuce wraps and removing items such as croutons from the salads. The food was good but the menu note is misleading and it doesn’t actually offer many gluten free options at all.

Stopped here on a whim while walking the city. Great location and vibes here. We had the mussels with an order of truffle fries Everything super fresh and the grilled chicken salad was so good. Will definitely be going back the next time we're in Savannah. Definitely one of those places that does a great job of catering to tourists as well as locals. Very cool dinner spot in Savannah. Great place to visit if it is your first time. Most items can be made gluten-free. The servers are very knowledgeable and are very willing to accommodate as best as they can. They truly care to make sure you are not worried/poisoned and will check in to make sure you are satisfied. The Salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus was AMAZINGGGG. Am definitely going back next time I’m in town. Would go here all the time if I lived here and went on hella dates.

Delicious and cozy atmosphere! Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the options that were safe to eat. I had a delicious pork chop, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Never had any symptoms of cross contamination.

Went here for lunch. They don't have any gluten free buns or bread, and there weren't many lunch options other than a sandwich without bread or burger without a bun. The fries must have a new recipe because they are no longer gluten free per our waiter. I got a burger and mashed potatoes. They were both alright. The waiter assured me they follow strict cross-contamination prevention measures so I definitely think this place is safe. It just wasn't great food and there were very limited lunch options.

Most items on menu can be made gluten-free and staff was knowledgeable and reassuring.
No reaction but mixed review regardless because the food wasn’t great, which was surprising based on how busy this place is. Ordered the green curry with shrimp which was $28 and was really bland. Veggies clearly from a frozen mix and not much flavour or spice.
A decent option based on location if you’re going somewhere with non GF eaters.

Had a great meal here. Items aren't labeled however our server was easily able to explain what was gluten free. The fries are also the only thing in the frier. They were great and so was the shrimp and grits. Did not get sick, and am very sensitive.

I would love to give this place 5 stars because the food was great but the acoustics inside prevent me from doing this. My boyfriend and I both had ear pain from the noise. Thankfully our table became available just as we had reached our limit and we were able to leave the bar and sit outside. There isn't really anything inside to absorb sound. I would be interested to know what the noise exposure is for the employees during the evening. The wait for food was crazy long and I got a little sick from low blood sugar. I had no idea it would take an hour for food after our order or I wouldn't have gotten a drink. I'm not a drinker but they had fresh mint so I indulged. All that said, if you sit outside and be prepared for a long wait the food is delicious and they have lots of gluten free options. The menu states most items can be made gluten free. I enjoyed the Paella.

I had the lemon chicken with broccollini & root mash and it was SO GOOD. Most foods are gluten free or can be made gluten free. The server was knowledge me and although my food was GF anyway, she told the chef. We got the cheese board for an appetizer which was really tasty as well. I had a great experience and no reaction.

I had the risotto and a cider. Service was great and food was very good.

I had the teriyaki vegetable stirfry. They make their teriyaki there and it’s gluten free. It was okay. I didn’t really enjoy the services. We were seated at an awful table in the entry of the downstage dining room. Our waiter was helpful but every other interaction with staff was a little busy and pushy. As if the staff couldn’t bother to stop and help because they were stressed or rushed.
Not my favorite place in Savannah.
Almost everything can be done GF. Very knowledgeable staff. Shrimp and grits were AMAZING!

No buns but a few good GF options like shrimp and grits. I opted for the cheese board which was delish. Great sangria too and cool atmosphere!

Very knowledge! Accommodations made for meal choices. Homemade GF soup was delicious!
They have gf salads and maybe 3 random other plates (e.g. Cauliflower risotto, shrimp and grits), but no gf buns or bread for their awesome sandwiches. It was fine to just eat one bunless, but I really would have appreciated an ordinary burger. Had one gluten free beer option.
Our family of 6 went there for dinner. Our 4 kids have celiac disease and we were able to eat here with a good number of options for the kids. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free. We loved it!!
Yes
Excellent Food, location and service for this trendy hip corner Restaraunt! Plenty of GF option. They even made the Risitto GF and Cow Dairy Free... but disappointingly no GF Bun options to go w their Grass-fed beef
ordered the cheese board and they put the bread on the side for the rest of the table. the house salad was delicious also had the wild mushroom risotto with chicken.
I had a horrible experience here. I was looking forward to it based on all of the great reviews but the waiter had no knowledge of what was gluten free and only offered me a burger with no bun and then, of course, it came with a bun. Based on that, I did not end up eating with the rest of my party.
This is a great restaurant for gluten free and non gluten free people to eat at. I get the Shrimp and grits and have never had an issue. Very good food all around!
Sonya was awesome! Food was great.
Had an awesome meal!! I am also allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, and dairy products. I am able to consume goat cheeses and milk, so the Stuffed Chicken breast was a real winner for me. The waiter was not entirely sure how to help unless I asked questions, but other servers appeared to be more knowledgeable about food allergies. Be assertive and know your food "yes-es."
Great service and great food! Staff was great in helping us find something safe for our daughter with 12 food allergies. Delicious!!!
Good selection of gluten free items. Food was good and no issues after.
Yes
Wonderful food in a nice atmosphere. The bison burger (no bun) was incredible. Two of their three desert options are gf and much of their menu in general.
Great food, many items can be made GF!
The staff is very knowledgeable and can say what items are gluten free. Most of the items on the normal menu are (except for the sandwiches). Good food and good quality!
