The Purple Mint

I have been regularly eating at Purple Mint for two years and have never gotten sick. I have tried every gf item on the menu. I'm sad to hear that others have gotten sick. I have only had great experiences at Purple Mint. I love their butter shrimp noodles and eggplant tofu. It's delicious.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

I was coming for a friend’s birthday. I looked at the menu before and the review here and was nervous. I brought my own meal in case. Upon meeting the service I told him I had celiac and asked if he was familiar with it…he said no. I said no worries, I brought my own lunch so I’ll just eat that and he actually looked relieved. And so was I as it was the first time I’ve brought my own food to a restaurant and I was stressed out!

If you are celiac stay far away. I have tried to eat here a handful of times and I have felt soooo bad after. All the staff confirmed that’s everything was gluten feee and they use separate pans for dedicated gluten free items. I don’t think it’s true. The food states GF but I would be very careful.
