The River House

No GF menu (nor gf items marked on menu) lhowever with lots of questions, I was able to order the grilled chicken salad - which was yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful but we were getting a few mixed messages about whether or not they had a dedicated fryer. Another reviewer said that she had the fries with no problems but I decided not to risk it. There were six or seven feral cats that wanted to taste the chicken but stayed away if you didn’t feed them. Great outdoor space, lots of tables, and friendly staff, but very limited menu for those of us who need to eat gluten-free.

LOVED it here! I got the chicken sandwich, staff was very nice and helpful! They have a separate fryer for fries too! They changed from “The River House” to “The Bird House” fyi!

Excellent food and very knowledgeable staff. The chefs are able to adapt their menu based on your food sensitivities. I have Celiac and always feel safe dining here. Always an exceptional experience!

Yes

No gf menu, but the staff and chef went above and beyond to take care of us. I recommend the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer.
