Excellent waffles. When one order was not GF the chef came out and asked to confirm it wasn’t a mistake.

We had a great experience here this morning. My daughter and I both have Celiac and we felt comfortable eating here and had no reactions. When ordering we spoke directly to the kitchen staff and they were able to say that some items could be cross contaminated (bacon and sausage) but everything else was safe. The home fries are cooked in their own separate area so those are not a problem. We got the strawberry and cream waffle, the bananas foster waffle and I got a chicken sandwich on a GF waffle. The chicken was coated in cornmeal and was delicious. The sandwich was one of the best things I’ve ever had. The combo of sweet and savory was delicious. We can’t wait to go back!!

Their menu is pretty clear that nearly everything can be made gluten free. I spoke with the manager who told me their gluten free process. And she explained exactly how my meal would be altered to be gluten safe

The people serving were friendly, but I will not go there again. I ordered a GF waffle for me and my daughter who are gluten and dairy intolerant (not celiac). We wanted bacon too, but they could not guarantee cross-contamination with gluten. When the food came, they had got my daughters' orders right, but made me a regular waffle instead of a GF/V waffle. So they had to take it back and make a GF/V waffle instead, and charged me an extra $2:00 for making it GF. When it came, I ate about 1/10th of it and had to stop because it was awful, and way too sweet!!!! I felt really sick! Had to order eggs and hashbrown potatoes. The potatoes were not terribly good. I felt bad because the waitstaff and woman taking the order were really nice. Other people seemed happy, though - there were a lot customers.

Pillowy gf waffle is great! A little sweeter than I prefer but after not having waffles for 20 years, this is delicious. Perfect as a dessert waffle (with ice cream, etc.).

The Sloppy Waffle is a fun place to have breakfast or lunch. Be ready to participate in a bit of gluttony because they go heavy on the whipped cream! The atmosphere is casual and its a very popular eatery so I always try to hold off until after the lunch rush. Have been here many times and never been sick.

We have a person with Celiacs Disease so thought to try this place on a quiet Tuesday morning. The waitress was knowledgeable and made sure we were safe. There were quite a few gf options. Food was decent. Overall, we would go back again.

This place is 'ok'. The gluten free aspects are nice, but the place overall isn't great. Its price for what you get and the food is bland. The service is also very ow. There were only 4 other people in the entire place and we had to wait white a while for 4 waffles. Coffee, etc is self serve.

What a horrendous experience! The only reason I'm giving one star is that the food was stellar. Most of the staff were polite and capable. The woman running the shift however, was acerbic and insulting. First she moved our assigned table without asking us. She told us she was switching our table. Then the woman taking the order charged me for meal including hash browns. She stated that the hashbrowns were NOT gluten-free but made NO EFFORT to suggest a substitute or reduce the price. I even requested gluten-free toast (which I was told they don't have) Then after all that, they brought over toast which was included in the other diners meal about 10 minutes after the food had arrived. The woman running the shift came to see us at my request. She notified me in a barking manner that the hash browns are gluten-free and blamed her staff for "maybe being nervous". I cannot in good conscience say they're celiac friendly due to the lack of staff knowledge.

They can make any waffle GF but there is only one size for GF. Not ideal for kid size portion or be prepared for leftovers.

Food was great. Gluten free and organic. Very busy on a Sunday morning. Not an open table. Service was great with attentive staff. Place a bit run down or would have given it 5 stars.
