Fun place. Open later than most restaurants in Galveston. Decent amount of GF choices. I ordered the Thai peanut salad with grilled shrimp. They assured me that they would clean surfaces to make it gf safe, but ended up having to send it back because they forgot and added the fried won ton strips that need to be omitted for gf. So had to wait a while for my food to get remade.

So, the bunless burger was delicious (burger patty and toppings atop a beef of shredded lettuce and diced tomato)! I had the Sweet & Spicy Burger (jalapenos are not GF), and the honey-citrus cole slaw. It was a "warm" late December day, so the outdoor seating wasn't bad if you had a jacket (55 degrees).
When I ordered at the counter, I specifically stated I had a severe gluten allergy (I'm Asymptomatic Celiac, but it's easier to explain with allergy), and the cashier was doing a lot of tapping on the screen.
There are a decent amount of GF options on the GF menu. My food came out on a breaker plate, and everyone else's came out on stainless steel trays lined with paper.
But, there was a torn French fry piece on my plate, underneath the lettuce. Since I'm Asymptomatic Celiac, I won't notice from this small amount, but I still don't appreciate being glutened. No telling if they accidentally put a whole serving of greasy fries on my plate before they realized they didn't belong there... So, just be careful, and maybe be more verbal than I was (make a slightly bigger deal about it).

They have a GF menu, but you have to ask at the front. It is taped to the reception desk, and you take a pic. It's a great place to go in Galveston right on the Seawall--especially for drinks and a quick snack. It's a busy place, so I didn't try anything off the grill for fear of CC. You order at the counter, then the server brings your order. The view is amazing, the shrimp cocktail is delish (and huge), and I highly recommend their Margaritas (also huge)!

Front desk said no GF menu, but they probably could wrap a burger in lettuce. A total joke.
Rebecca said it right minimal choices, maximum chaos, especially if you have anyone under 21. We were only able to go in a couple of areas with our 16 year old. Bouncer and servers were giving opposite info from each other. Server was clueless about GF, we found no options.

Gluten free menu available at the counter. The fish tacos with corn tortillas were five star. Also comes with gluten free chips and salsa. Rest of the menu was bunless burgers and chicken sandwiches so if you are wanting one of those consider bringing your own gluten free buns. The waffle fries have gluten so be careful not to eat those.

Minimal choices, maximum chaos. None of the servers had any advice. I risked it only because we had met multiple friends who insisted on the location. Did a basic burger without bun for both celiacs - we both got sick.

Ordered off the Celiac friendly GF menu... discussed cross contamination and shared fryers with the counter person.. and was served FLOUR tortillas with my fish tacos. Realized it when I took my first bite. Manager was attentive. But I’m soooo sick! One star is too generous

A bit pricey for iffy gluten free options. I always just end up with a bunless burger
I ordered from the gluten free menu, but was served the normal version. I had them remake it. They were nice about it, but I watched them make it and the chance for CC looked very high. the fish tacos were DELICIOUS but I don't think I'd risk eating here again.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone eating gluten free. Their "gluten free menu" is a photocopied sheet with limited items such as "the *** burger without a bun". They don't serve ANY gluten free items like buns or biscuits or desserts. Further, when we did order, they gave us the burger ON A BUN! When we sent it back, it took 20 minutes to get a new one, and this time it had no cheese on it. Both the burger and the grilled chicken "breast" were so dry that I thought we had gotten shoe leather instead of meat....teach your employees how to grill meat so that it's juicy! We didn't choose celiac, it chose us, and we spend $$$....so if you want some of ours, please learn how to cook and serve palatable food. One star is far too much, but we had to give it that or no review to post.

Ask for a GF menu. Very accommodating and extensive menu.
