This was an amazing find!!! It is between Woodford distillery and Castle and Key. They had several GF items marked and several they could accommodate. Drinks were great, staff was so knowledgeable and helpful. I had Brussel sprouts and the Kentucky Burgoo and cornbread.

Not impressed. Waiter didn’t seem to know much about celiac. Asked about gluten free options and was told there wasn’t much gf on the menu other than salad when there were several option marked GF. Got the pork chop and mashed potatoes and it was ok, not great by any means.

The little gem is off the beaten path and well worth a visit. In fact, we visited twice.
Our friend was visiting the owner out behind the restaurant, mentioned that I have celiac disease and the owner disclosed that his children do as well. This definitely gave me peace of mind eating here. Keep in mind that it is a small, busy kitchen though! They are doing their best to keep you safe because they get it.
There are a few gluten free options marked on the menu. One of my friends also ordered gluten free so we could share things and between the two visits I was able to try, and thoroughly enjoy the following: burgoo and cornbread, blackened pork chop, smoked trout chowder, catfish and grits. Excellent experiences here.
Whiskey drinkers will appreciate the vast selection!

Great experience! Although there’s only a few gluten free options, they’re delicious! Got the burgoo & cornbread and the blackened pork chop. Our waiter knew exactly what Celiac was.

Great food. Few GF dishes but interesting and well cooked. More than 250 whiskies...all GF. You get the feeling it is celiac safe.

I came here based on the other wonderful reviews and did not get the same experience at all. When I told the waiter I was gluten free, he told me he had no idea if what was gf on the menu could actually be gluten free. And he said there was a high risk of cross contamination because of the size of the kitchen. It’s clear to see the kitchen is very small so I could see exactly what he meant. He told me I could talk to the head chef but he was out at the grocery because they were running out of things. We waited for a bit and no one ever came so we just decided to leave. Definitely sad we had this experience.

Menu clearly marked, very helpful staff and beautiful location with a fun atmosphere. Be careful of the fries or any menu item with fries, because they are not cooked in a dedicated fryer.
Enjoyed a great meal here! One of us had burgoo and GF cornbread, the other had catfish with greens and cheese grits. Food was delicious. We sat at picnic tables on the screened porch. Wish they had GF desserts, though.

Excellent experience! We found this place while traveling to Frankfort for the day. We went during the day so it was not busy, The food was delicious and the service exceptional. I have Celiac Disease and the items that are gluten free are clearly marked. The waiter even made a suggestion to make sure my meal was safe. My only suggestion is they need a dedicated fryer because their fries looked amazing! We will be back. I should also mention is situated near several beautiful horse farms and distilleries which is great if you are touring them.
