No understanding of what gluten is, no assurance of safety for allergies, and did not even gluten free soy sauce. I told our waitress about my allergy and asked about the spicy tuna roll, which she said DID have gluten. I asked to substitute the spicy tuna for regular tuna. I was brought spicy tuna and didn’t realize until after I had taken a bite. This was worse than accidental contamination, since the waitress knew of my allergy and brought me what she KNEW I was allergic to. It could have been the kitchen staff or my waitress, but either way I would not go back.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?

— Not very

I order the beef fried rice and specified gluten free. Not only did my waitress put it in the computer that way but she went back and made sure that the kitchen staff was fully aware that it was and had them change gloves. They have gluten free tamari sauce as well. Overall delicious and thorough. I’ll be returning!
