I have Celiacs so we called ahead to be sure that the kitchen took things seriously and that they had options for me and my husband. We were assured there were "lots" of options and we would be quite "safe" eating there. When we arrived the waitress sat us and after we received our menus we asked her what dishes were gluten free. She hesitated and seemed very unsure, pointing out a few items on the menu that she "thought" were safe and then asking US whether there was gluten in potatoes or rice. I was very surprised at her like of knowledge concerning the menu and what I could and could not eat, and the fact that there were only a few options for me even after we called ahead. I finally ordered the Singapore Street Noodles because it was the only thing I felt was safe to eat. During the waiting period, I was able to see into the open kitchen and observed that none of the cooks were wearing gloves or even had hair nets on. At one point a man doing Mise en place repeatedly sucked on his finger between chopping andouille sausages and creating a cheese board. Having worked in a French restaurant I was disturbed by the lack of sanitation and knowledge by the staff. Would not recommend and won't be returning.

Celiac friendly?

No
