Delicious brunch on a Friday morning. Omelette, gluten free toast and fruit. Busy but no wait for a table. I didn’t ask about dedicated vs shared toaster, but I did order GF toast “because I have an allergy, so please keep it very gluten free” and the server wrote something down and thanked me for telling her.

Go here and because they claim to have gluten free and my non celiac husband really enjoys brunch here. They offer gluten free bread but toast it in a shared toaster. They have corn tortilla but were unwilling to heat them in a separate area for me. The potatoes are also cooked on a shared griddle. The only thing I feel safe eating is a tofu scramble. The positives are they do offer tofu as an alternative to eggs in all scrambles and their salsa is very good.

Food is good but not really worth the long wait and they really don't have any gluten free options. You can order stuff from the menu that doesn't already have gluten but it is really only corn tortillas as an option.

Though Walnut Cafe doesn't have specifically GF options (GF bread etc), they do have a lot of options that are naturally gluten free, so it's easy to find something safe to eat here. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly!
