We live in the area and recently took visiting family members here as most of us have celiac. Very sad to find the menu had just changed and now the only GF option is one soup. Very unfortunate as the prior menu had decent options.

The view is great for sunset. Several things marked as gluten free on the menu that will require further questions of safety for celiacs (Bourbon glaze?). Had blackened shrimp on salad. Raw oysters were delish and the hottest horseradish ever!!!

The Wharf had items marked on the menu as GF if they were safe. The wait staff confirmed something we had a question about and the food was delicious with no problems. A beautiful view from the restaurant and excellent staff made the whole experience a pleasure.

I am on vacation and visited the wharf today. I had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is beautiful with options to sit inside or outside. There was ample parking and the grounds where the restaurant is located are lovely. The customer service was excellent. Cocktails were very good. On to the food, they do not have a gluten free menu but many options can be made gluten free. They have GF buns for GF sandwiches, and meat that can be prepared different ways including grilled. I had the mahi mahi sandwich. The fish was excellent and the bun was very good. They had a side salad with many GF dressings. My non-GF family loved their meals. One had crab cakes with a side of fries, one had a shrimp platter with fries, and one had pork tacos with… fries. The total for these meals, three beverages, and a cocktail was around $140.00. The quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere is worth the cost. I Recommend that you visit to enjoy the food and lovely atmosphere. I would definitely return in the future. One tip, visit early or prepare for a slight wait. We visited at 11:30. When we left @ 12:30, there was already a wait time. Plan to enjoy a lovely cocktail while soaking up the beach breeze while you wait for a table. It’s worth it!

They have GF buns for sandwiches. Food is ok but pricey for the options and quality. View is great.

Had the Grilled Fish Sandwich with Fresh Fruit and on a GF bun. Thankfully the tartar sauce was gluten free as well as they use Udi’s buns! It was absolutely amazing, staff was kind about me double and triple checking that it was gluten free. This is a safe place for Celiacs!

While there are very limited gluten free options, the staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and careful. I ordered the fish sandwich. They have good gf buns for sandwiches, and their tartar sauce is gluten free. Our waitress was extraordinarily helpful (especially in comparison to some other restaurants on the island) in talking with the kitchen about changing gloves, checking ingredients, etc. My meal arrived on a separate tray from the other meals.

Menu clearly labeled with GF options. Server knowledgeable about menu or willing to ask kitchen for certainty. Great overall dining experience.

The peel and eat shrimp were not marked gf, and the server and I wondered why not. She asked the kitchen, who confirmed they WERE gf, but not marked on the new menu. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. All other items marked gf except for the grits, which were gf too. Maybe they need to reprint the new menu.

GF items are clearly marked on their menu. Most things are seafood. Sandwiches are offered on gf buns
Yes
The wharf offers a handful of GF options that are clearly marked on the menu. They are either salads or seafood maybe about 6 options which is why I only gave 4 stars. Try the country boil, it is a lot of food and the seafood is very fresh. The servers are well versed in cross contamination.
