Eaten here on several occasions and the food is excellent. They have a gluten free menu with a great choice. I am also dairy intolerant and this is not a problem. The chef even made me a starter which wasn’t on the menu to accommodate me. They also have a separate frier. The staff are all lovely and nothing is a bother for them. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and is very clean. I would highly recommend eating here when you are in Lanark.

I enjoyed a lovely meal tonight at The Woodpecker. They had a dedicated Gluten Free menu which included fish & chips/burger/macaroni/steaks/pizzas and more plus lots of dessert options. I never felt like I was missing out at all and to be honest wouldn’t have known it was Gluten Free.
