Amazing grilled cheese sammiches with many different options for them. Perfectly toasted gf bread. Soup (tomato)was so creamy and good. Chips were good side. Fun atmosphere. Will definitely go back to try other things.

I was so excited to come here for brunch because I called ahead and they said they had a gluten free fryer and everything. Ended up getting the tater tots and egg gluten free brunch item and wouldn’t you know it was DEFINITELY in cross contact with contact. I felt it immediately. I know the waitress wrote severe gluten allergy on my receipt so it wasn’t her fault but sad that I can’t trust the yard in Robinson anymore

Eh, it’s just okay. The grilled cheese was good but the chips were absolutely disgusting. They tasted like old fryer oil. Server was nice but not very reassuring about cross contamination. I probably won’t be back.

Ate here twice on my last trip to the Burgh. I can’t remember the last time I had a grilled cheese and dipped it in tomato soup. Staff is super knowledgeable and separate gf menu. Tater tots are fried separate but waffle fries are coated in a seasoning with gluten

Great food with a large variety of gluten free options! In my opinion the food usually comes out a little slowly, but I go when I’m not in a hurry. 🙂 My favorite ’meal’ is the I Dip, You Dip, We Dip (buffalo) paired with waffle fries. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!!

My husband is celiac and said they have the best GF bread he has ever tasted! Dedicated fryer too! We have gone twice and will keep going! Definitely recommend!

The server was very knowledgeable and assured me that there wouldn’t be cross contamination if he flagged my meal as an allergy. The chips are in a separate fryer if flagged and are so good! Love the grilled cheese and the tomato soup too.

Waitress assured me that my salad would be gluten free as it was ordered from the gf menu. It came out covered in pita chips and waitress argued with me that they were gf before asking kitchen staff. The kitchen made a new salad, but by the time I received it my family was finished eating. Additionally, I ordered a locally made cider and was brought angry orchard in a glass. 1/10 do not recommend.

Just like the other The Yard restaurants around Pittsburgh. Gluten free bread for the grilled cheeses and the included sides of tomato soup and chips are gluten free.

Normally fine but be cautious that you actually received gluten-free bread as I have been given (and accidentally eaten a bite) normal Texas toast style bread and was horribly sick afterwards. They corrected their mistake but the damage was done. The gluten free bread is thinner but works well with holding up.

So good and they have food I haven't been able to eat in years. They use Little Northern Bakehouse bread, it was good. They have a dedicated dryer AND cooking space! The people were nice too. They also have a GF adult beverage menu list.

Excellent food and service. I've been gluten free for 8 years and am fairly sensitive to contamination. I've never had a problem eating at the Yard. Their gluten free bread, homemade chips, fries and tomato soup are so yummy!
