I was back home in Pedro for a photo session. The trip was last minute and they were able to reserve the back room for a mini high school reunion. I eat paleo and they were able to make me halibut skewers and vegetables. They left the butter sauce off and brought me the green sauce that that they serve with bread. It was super delicious!

This is a cool restaurant. I have eaten here several times usually without a problem, but I ordered the peach ice tea once and that was a mistake. I am not a tea person, and I didn’t know then that many teas, especially flavored teas, can have gluten in them. Lesson learned. Never again. I am Celiac so this might not hit others as hard, but buyer beware.

Although nothing is stated on the menu about gluten free items, almost everything can be modified to be gluten free. They have a delicious gluten free pasta, and they can substitute corn tortillas for flour tortillas. The food tasted amazing, and I had no issues.
