Just moved to Westerly and wow what a introduction by the Thirsty Beaver. Called to make sure they had gluten free availability. Turns out the entire menu could be made gluten free! Hesitant, I ordered a pizza, burger, AND fries for my family and sure enough they all were gluten friendly. The gentleman on the phone did mention they could do the fish and chicken wings in the oven but it may take longer to complete that order so that was good to know. Definitely coming back.
— Yes, the establishment is dedicated gluten-free
— Excellent
Called ahead and was told they could make a lot of the options gluten free. When we went explained my son was celiac and waitress understood. Told us they had a separate fryer or could bake the fries for us but wanted to check with the kitchen first. Came back and said kitchen was too busy to watch the fries for cross contamination and baking would take too long. We ordered the pizza which my son said was ok but I didn’t completely trust was safe (his symptoms are typically mild and don’t appear for a few days so I’m not sure yet). Our waitress was great but feel like the kitchen couldn’t be bothered to help us.
— No gluten-free information on the menu
