Cute little dedicated GF bakery. Items are individually packaged and there's a variety that changes up. The oatmeal cream pies are my favorite! They also get some neat pre-packaged goods.

Stopped by on a road trip with kids to grab some afternoon GF treats. Favorite items were the tajin cookie, fruit oat bar and sugar mama (two cookies with frosting). My 11 year old declared that the frosting in the Sugar Mama cookie was the best vegan frosting!

While cross-contamination cannot be 100 percent ruled out in a shared-use space, we work tirelessly to make sure that it is safe for you and your families. Below are some additional procedures we incorporate into our workflow to make sure we can serve you safe and satisfying treats.
Strict cleanliness and sanitation practices: We follow strict cleanliness and sanitation practices, including regular cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment and surfaces before and after use. All tables are stainless steel. This helps to minimize the risk of cross-contamination and ensure that our products are safe to eat.
Separate equipment and work areas: We use separate equipment and work areas for gluten-free baking to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. This includes dedicated gluten-free mixing bowls, measuring cups, and other equipment, as well as separate work areas for gluten-free baking. We have our own sheet trays and use single-use parchment paper on every sheet tray, always.
Labeling and packaging: We package all of our goods in single-use sealed cellophane bags. This ensures the safe transport and storage of all of our baked goods. Both in the shop and at all of our wholesalers we have ingredient labels on file.
Ingredient Sourcing: While we are unable to certify our shared use kitchen as gluten free, we can control our buying habits. We only buy certified gluten free and vegan ingredients.
Overall, while working in a shared-use kitchen can pose challenges, by following strict cleanliness and sanitation practices we can provide delicious and safe gluten-free baked goods to our customers.
We are always available for questions and feedback. We are working hard to make our dream of the first certifed gluten free vegan bakery in Iowa a reality.

SO YUMMY! and such a cute little spot. I swung by here from the airport and we got the oatmeal crème pie, chocolate chip tahini sea salt cookie, sweet potato / miso dinner roll, and the puppy chow bar. They were all super rich flavors, the crème pie was by far the best, and the roll was a little dry but still such an interesting flavor.
highly recommend if you’re in the area!

THE BEST BAKERY IN THE DES MOINES AREA. Delicious goodies and cool stuff all the time. So friendly and always willing to make recommendations. I've been a frequent customer every week since they've opened. I've ordered cookies from them for a wedding and they were delicious! Give them a try!

I absolutely love this place! I love your story about how they started and how they opened here in Des Moines.
I went in last Saturday with my mom to check it out because it popped up on my gluten free app as a gluten free bakery. I grabbed a handful of different items when I was in. And am really excited to say that I will be back!
The people who work there are really friendly and helpful. They will answer any questions you have a give you a tour of the place when you say you have never been there before.
I love that eveeything is gluten free and plant based. It is really hard for me to find something that is both unless I make it myself.
There fluffernutter is to die for and I am saying this as a person who is not a big fan of marshmallows. I love the pumpkin whoopie pie. It was soft and delicious! I do wish it had a little bit more spices in it though. I grabbed some of their garlic foccaccia bread as well and it reminds me of foccaccia that is made with gluten. And it is made with no preservatives so if you do not eat all of it and leave it sitting out it does go bad. I also bought a oatmeal creampie. These reminded me of the childhood treats I used to have though it was a little dry.
My hope to try there cinnamon rolls. I really miss being able to have them and have not found a good recipe yet. So finger crossed I can grab one when I am in next!

It was an amazing experience 10 out of 10! I'm extremely allergic to both gluten and dairy so it's hard for me to find fresh baked goods. This is one of the only places that I have found which is both gluten and dairy free but still has an amazing taste. They have unique things that are always allergen friendly and I love going there. Even my friends who do not have allergies love eating there.

I have tried cinnamon rolls, cookie sandwiches (called sugar mama's), Pumpkin bars, and two types of their focaccia. I have really enjoyed everything I have tried and didn't have any issues with cross-contamination.
Service was great and they are very knowledgeable about celiac and allergens in general.

I was excited to try their baked goods and unfortunately they use oats and oat milk in most of their products, which upset my stomach. I tried the two items that didn't have oats which were the focaccia and the tahini chocolate chip cookies, both were delicious. This is a newer bakery that carries gluten free and vegan grocery items in addition to baked goods. I hope they expand and grow, it's a cute little shop and I wish them success.

Yummm! Everything is vegan and gluten-free here! It’s expensive but very unique and worth it! Locally owned! Right now they’re only open Thursday through Saturday.
