Staff was unclear about which plates are gluten free. I specified no pita bread and my plate still came with bread on top of the whole meal. Additionally, my mom specified no dairy on her plate and it came with cheese mixed in.

Mediterranean food has finally come to Longview! Even more exciting is that most of Tiba Grill's menu is gluten free! I have spoken with the owner (who cooks at both locations) and he has assured me that the only items on the menu that are NOT GF are the rice and the pita bread (including sandwiches or gyros). He is looking into sourcing GF pita bread and is also considering making the rice GF.
I absolutely LOVE Tiba's food. It is so flavorful and quite healthy. I usually get shawarma atop Greek salad instead of rice. With the plate you get two sides. I get hummus and baba ghanoush. It comes with pita bread, so I always tell them that I am celiac and to be sure to not put the pita bread on my plate. They always take great care to not cross contaminate. The owner was fine with me bringing in my own GF pita bread (pro tip: hit the Walmart marketplace on the way to the restaurant for the GF pita bread).
Unlike the Tyler location, this location has fountain drinks and also a cute outside dining area. It is next to a busy road, which can be noisy, but is still a nice option.
