Tried this place for the first time and the food was delicious. Ordered the rice bowl. Only note was I did leave with a slight stomach ache but did not last long. Would say this is gluten free safe not celiac safe.

I did not eat here because I saw them touching utensils to flour tortillas. The staff were knowledgeable, but that meant they were able to acknowledge there was a significant risk of cross contamination.

When I said “I have celiac” the server said, “let me change my gloves.” Basically: that’s enough said. That’s a place that understands cross contamination. They are totally careful and have been well trained, seem to have worked here for years. I can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner! I had the barbacoa rice bowl, it was delicious.

Similar to Chipotles. Good, inexpensive Mexican-style fast food.
