I was nervouse to order the fish and chips after seeing some of the negative reviews on here but the waitress was understanding and assured me that they use dedicated fryers so I went for it. Best GF fish and chips i’ve ever had. My only sickness was from being so full and happy.

I have Celiac disease and get violently ill with gluten. The server would not let me ask any clarifying questions about a shared fryer. In fact, he cut me off and said we're moving on and would not answer if it was a shared fryer. I've never had an experience like that. I have never been so uncomfortable. GF items are marked, but I'm pretty sure they use a shared fryer and the fish and chips are definitely not GF.

I was really looking forward to the gluten free fish and chips and made it our first meal in Kauai. Unfortunately I was so sick 2 hours later. I’m not sure if someone just made a mistake with the flour they used or what but it was not the way I wanted to start our trip. Please be cautious!

STAY AWAY from this place! The fish & chips are NOT gluten free like they claim! Both of my adult sons have celiac and both were violently ill 2 hours after eating here. So upsetting on the 1st night out for dinner on our vacation.

Not a ton of GF options, but the GF fish and chips was incredible! Extremely crispy and well seasoned.

Gluten free fish and chips are amazing here, but that’s the only GF thing you can get. So if that’s what you want, it’s a great choice. (Also, the Tiki Colada is to die for.)

Omg!! I haven’t had fish & chips for 10 years! Best food I have had in Maui or Kauai!! Such a treat!! I am a silent celiac, my non-gluten free friends said it was the best fried fish they have ever had! Thank you to the owners for giving us GFree’ers something I’ve been craving for a long time!

Upon asking about gluten free options for Celiac the bartender immediately recommended the fish n chips. That specific dish is made with a dedicated fryer and dredged in a GF flour. It was tasty and so fun to be out at a tiki bar getting to enjoy a meal that is not commonly GF.

So, so good. Dinner menu is marked with gluten free options. I had green curry with fish - probably the best meal I’ve had on Kauai, and I visit a few times a year. We came back the next week for lunch, and I had fried fish and chips (the only lunch option). It was another amazing meal. Met the owner’s son, who has celiac, and he reassured me that it is gluten free, even though it tastes amazing!

Staff somewhat knowledgeable. Menu is clearly marked and there are a few options for dinner. I ate here 2 times and didn’t get sick. I would highly recommend.

LOVED it, seriously. their fish and chips are GF and the freaking bomb. we ate here as many times as possible.

Came here because of the fish and chip reviews....they had the fish and chips marked GF on the menu but unfortunately they were now using regular flour on the fish batter which also means no more dedicated dryer. Good thing I asked...had to leave...

Fish and chips were awesome. I haven't been able to find GF version so was a big treat.

Thanks to the previous review we decided to stop and eat the fish and chips here. We were not disappointed. The fish/French fries were delicious. I would highly recommend stopping if you are in the area. Aloha!
