I’m so glad I found this place! I ate lunch here with my boyfriend and all the food was delicious. You could barely tell the difference between the gf burrito and the regular burrito (which never happens!). They said pretty much everything on their menu can be made gf, which is always a plus. They were great about cross contact and I will definitely be coming back to try more of their offerings.

lots of gf options as mexican usually has. got three diff tacos w/rice and beans at a solid price and they were soooooo yum! will def be coming back here :)

My go to for tacos an bowls. Great little place for eat in or take out. Have never had an issue with my multiple food allergies and best tacos ever!

While Tio Mateos doesn’t have a GF menu, much of the menu can be prepared GF bc it is made from scratch and all natural ingredients. The employees are awesome, too, about documenting allergy needs and following through with precautions. I eat here weekly and have never had a reaction.
