TLDR: Very mixed experience. Food was tasty, but our waitress was clueless about gluten and the up charges for gf were a ripoff. Possible cross contamination of fries.
Full details: the waitress kept saying “the only gf things we have are the gf buns, gf pizza crust, and oven-baked fries. Everything else has gluten I guess”. Eventually she found someone (an owner?) who was able to find out what sauces etc. were safe. Got double bacon cheeseburgers with gf buns. Menu said gf buns were $3 but they charged an extra $6 per burger since there was an extra layer of bun between the Pattie’s. Also they forgot the bacon. When we asked about the $6 up-charge (thought it was a mistake)and missing bacon, the manager was quite rude, unapologetic and would not reduce the up charge or adjust the price for the missing bacon. Also the gf fries were in coated, while regular fries had a crispy coating. But some of the gf fries did have a little bit of coating so they may have been contaminated.

We eat at TJ's as often as we can. The pizza is made separately on it's own pan. The staff are knowledgeable about gluten free items. We eat there without problems almost all the time. It's not a GF environment so there's always a risk as with any other place. Good pizza, good food, great staff!

Delicious pizza and burgers! The owner has a family member with celiac so he gets it! There is not a separate gluten free menu but they are knowledgeable to what can be made gluten free. They have buns and can bake the fries.
The Owners have a family member who is a Celiac and it shows. They really do know their stuff when it comes to cross contamination! They will run the regular fries through the pizza oven(which were just fine!) GF Pizza and Buns for their 1/3 pound burgers as well. Their Burger bun is pretty darn good. Their pizza isn’t bad either! Just make sure to tell them you are a celiac or have an allergy and you’ll be right as rain!
