Terrific breakfast restaurant with several GF options including pancakes, waffles and French toast. (We didn’t get the waffle but I think the waffle iron is used for non GF waffles too.) delicious smoothies too. Friendly, quick, and inexpensive

Went here because they have a lot of gluten free options. My husband who has celiac was able to have the French toast with mango butter with eggs and bacon. I got the Eggs Benedict special that had bacon, avocado and sweet potatoes.

Lots of GF offerings. My salad came out with a packet of crackers nestled in it. They happily remade it, which made me feel very comfortable. The restaurant is very busy, with a basic diner/cafe vibe. The food was fine but not remarkable. A good and safe choice for breakfast or lunch basics.

Since learning that I’ve had celiac disease this was the best breakfast I’ve had. They can genuinely make almost all breakfast and lunch items gluten free, breads for French toast and buns for sandwiches!! BEST FRENCH TOAST I COULD ASK FOR!!

Extensive GF options. There isn’t a separate GF menu, but the staff are knowledgeable and can tell you what is safe. The only “GF” item that is not safe are the waffles because they don’t have a separate waffle maker; however, the pancakes, homefries (dedicated fryer), and other items are safe.

Good food and cute little diner. I did feel safe in the restaurant. Unpopular opinion, but I thought the food was "ok". The hype of this place left me thinking it was going to be very special, but did not quite meet my expectations. They are a good diner with safe food for gluten free options.

Wonderful Gluten Free Options!! Our children have celiac and they enjoyed the gluten free pancakes, sausage and they have anything on the menu can be made with GF. Very knowledgeable servers. I felt very safe eating here as a celiac. Eggs and hash browns were very good. Not at all a fan of the pancakes though, which is unfortunate. They have a very odd texture and with all the gf flour options now, I had hoped they would be tastier. The servers were super friendly and knowledgeable. Not sure if I’d go back though.

What a delight to a find a place where it is so easy to get gluten free food! Our server let us know they can do gluten free pancakes, bread, and waffles (but the waffles are cooked on the same iron as regular waffles in case we were that sensitive). I had the buckwheat pancakes and my husband had the gf waffle. Both were great and we felt fine afterwards.

Cute breakfast and Lunch spot that can make most of their menu gluten free. My son who has celiac had the chocolate chip pancakes. Fries are gluten free but we’re not the best tasting. Service was friendly and helpful. Portions for kids meals are pretty small. Smoothie was great, as was the club sandwich.

Service was amazing, food was amazing, probably the best experience we had in Sarasota! Everyone in the restaurant knew what celiac was (that’s always a good sign in my opinion), and they had great gluten free options. Waitresses, Michelle and Megan, told us they have separate areas for gluten items. 25/10 recommend this place! I had the blueberry pancakes:-)

Awesome! Had the French toast. They make everything gluten free except for the waffles. Pancakes, wraps, omelette, wraps and bread. Will be going again! Didn’t make me sick as a Celiac.

Service was awful here. We hoped for a better experience. I ordered the blueberry pancakes, which were subpar. The texture was cake like and fell apart easily. Not sure what happened? We waited over 35 minutes for our food and over 10 minutes just for water. The servers were nice, but we felt like we were forgotten. Overall I did not have a negative reaction.

The gluten-free French toast was amazing! I got the Toasted Mango Special which means my French toast came with eggs, bacon, and home fries, all of which were delicious. The waitress was very busy because of the amount of people she had to serve, but she still took the time to explain that gluten-free waffles are made in the same machine so I shouldn’t order those, etc. Very knowledgeable and the food was excellent.

If you can get past the limited parking and the seemingly miffed staff...the food is very good and there are GF breakfast classics like pancakes and french toast prepared safely and to perfection! Add a twist with blueberry pancakes or mango French toast, yum! Recommend sitting outside if weather permits as the inside can get very crowded.

Staff was really knowledgeable about celiac and had a vast menu. Ordered the mango gf French toast and gf pancakes with bacon & mango butter; all was delicious with no ill effects. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again. Nice to have a breakfast & lunch place to eat out safely. FYI pancakes were light and fluffy while the French toast was thick and wonderful.

I had the mango French toast. Thickest and fluffiest toast I have had since having to go gf. I also got a side of tummy sausage which was delicious was well. Waitress told me everything was cooked in a separate area except for the waffles that shared the same griddle as regular waffles. I did not get sick and I will be dreaming about my breakfast. Also pet friendly on the out door patio

Always come to this place when we are in Sarasota. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I had the turkey wrap with mango salsa and fries. Fryer is dedicated they say. Ate here for lunch and am having no symptoms. Love Toasted Mango!
