They were pretty negligent. Family is friends with them, gave them a detailed description of what Celiac’s disease is all in writing, and they were blasé, reassured the family that I could eat there no problem, and then encouraged me to eat food with gluten in it … only to find out after they thought celiac meant seed allergy?? Even though it was written out an explained to them?

Negligent. Hopefully they’re better in the future, but wtf.
