Tamales are amazing and GF. Rice and beans were also GF. Had the queso and chips. It was delicious. I always get these for Christmas too from their market. But this time I ate lunch here. Highly recommend. And staff knowledge.

Amazing!! Delicious food, all tamales are gluten free. Frito pie bowl was to die for. Knowledgeable staff too, he was able to tell me the chili had oats in it and to avoid. Great experience and not expensive.

The most amazing gluten free tamales! The guy was super knowledgeable about what contained gluten and not. All the meats, beans, rice, chips, queso; all gluten free. He was also super friendly! I will definitely be back. I had the pork tamales with rice and beans and chips and queso. I was drooling it was so good! Only thing is the dessert tamales are not gluten free, along with quesadillas, but he let me know that up front!

Do not get their apple Tamales. They have oats in them and are not gf. I only mention this because management thought they were gf until I brought it to their attention.

There is not a dedicated menu but with the exception of a few desserts and the chili, everything here is gluten-free. Bonus for me, nearly everything is also dairy-free as well. I had chicken tamales, refried beans and rice. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Great gluten free tamales! We picked some up on Christmas Eve, so the selection wasn’t large and they don’t allow you to order ahead. So if you want them on Christmas Eve, go or send someone early to stand in line.

#glutenfree amazing. Come for the tamales, stay for the ambiance! Tommy came out and greeted everyone as if we were long lost friends! I honestly can’t say enough good about the food, add to it that almost everything is gluten-free bonus bonus add to it that every employee there is happy to be there! I can’t wait until the next time I’m in town and I will be sure to fill up on tamales again

It’s a shame I can only give 5 stars. This place was damn good! The lady at the counter was very helpful—she explained the menu thoroughly and was helpful and knowledgeable about which items were gluten free. The dessert tamales are magnificent. Everyone was friendly. While we were there we found out that this place is ranked in the Yelp top 100 of all restaurants in the US.

Great place for celiac! We are from Chicago and found Tommy’s from this app. What a great find and happy to have such knowledgeable staff and yes Tommy and his wife are great people. A must while in town.

Just finished my first Tamale Plate (1 chicken, 1 beef, with rice and beans) It's one of those kind of meals where you finish it and actually feel healthy afterwards. Everything was GF not to mention totally delicious! Cindy up front and Tommy the owner both served up Texas-sized hospitality and friendly smiles. The restaurant also has a marketplace full of soup, stew & dip mixes that are GF! A great place to eat if you need a Mexican food fix that's safe to eat. We will DEFINITELY go back for another round before we leave town.

Food was great here! I really enjoyed the beef temales. Tommy and the staff were very welcoming.

Tommy said almost everything is gluten-free here. He only cautioned against the rice because he uses a bullion Cube to flavor it and he wasn't sure if it contained gluten.

Great tamales. I usually get the Tommy bowl and have never gotten sick. Staff is very helpful.

This place is great. Delicious, affordable, and tons of gluten free options. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Tommy came out and visited with us. He started selling tamales out of his truck and the sign from his truck is hanging on the wall. I couldn't recommend this place more!!! Yummmm!

I am a very sensitive celiac and was about to catch a plane. I was concerned about how true the GF rating on the menu. Tommy came out and addressed my concerns himself . The chicken tamale and the chips and salsa were tasty and I arrived home with no ill effects. Others in my party had the pork, pork with habanero , and beef tamales and all seemed excellent. Nice stop on the way to the airport or on arrival
