I had a great experience at tomo! They were super knowledgable about gf and cross contamination, and I had no reaction.

I’ve eaten here a few times so I’m really disappointed to say I wouldn’t trust this place. The fact that some servers are so wrongfully confident about things being gluten free is a huge red flag. I’m sure this misinformation comes from the kitchen or a manager and isn’t their fault but honestly it makes me really consider just trusting that something is allergen friendly because someone says it is. This recent time I ordered the miso soup (which is marked gluten free and I have been told is gluten free) only to be notified that is is not. From a taste perspective the sushi is just okay. Not worth the price or risk of someone not knowing what is and isn’t gluten free though.

They have so many gluten free options! Specialty rolls, appetizers, ramen. The server was very confident and understanding of celiac and cross contamination I felt very safe and didn’t get sick! The food was so good too definitely a place I have to go back to try more.

Super delicious but got sick afterwards (and we ate the veg/vegan options, so unlikely to be regular food poisoning from raw fish). My friend and I ordered items marked GF, but didn’t ask them to be super careful about cross contamination, and we assumed this was where we got burned. She’s eaten there before with no issues, so I guess you just have to ask them to be very careful.

Very extensive gf options, they even had ramen! Staff super accommodating. Sushi was very flavorful. Vegan mochi wasn’t too great, I’d skip it. Recommend that you let staff know you need your gf sushi on a separate plate. Will be coming again!

I got the spicy tuna roll, the alaskan roll, and the steven roll— all of which were marked on the menu as “can be made gf.” I tested each type of roll with my Nima and got smiles (no gluten found)! They were all delicious. So far, no reaction, will update if I get one later. I’m thrilled to find a place I can get gf sushi!!

So excited to have found such an accommodating Japanese restaurant in town! I was able to get gluten free ramen and sushi & my partner was able to get vegan sushi here too. Everything was tasty (my noodles seemed almost too good to be true) and the service was great. BYOB & small outdoor seating available. My only complaint is that they sent out my sushi roll on the same plate as my partners (which was not gluten free)- so you may want to specify this if you’re in a mixed party. Also the menu is only labeled gf on the physical copy, which we had to ask for since they are doing QR code menus currently.

Had a great experience here! GF items were marked on the menu and waitstaff was super helpful and thoughtful - let me know which rolls were better after modifications and carefully checked ingredients to the mochi online to see if they were safe.

The food was delicious - lots of gluten free variety. My experience with food prep and speaking with the waitstaff was great. They had gluten free soy sauce.
