The sushi is great.
The hibachi is good but make sure to ask them to cook it in the kitchen unless your whole table wants to do gluten free.
I called ahead and confirmed with the owner they had gf options. Confirmed again when I arrived with the waiter and the chef.
The bad: The chef was impatient with me and said he'd "only cook my food separately because it's not busy" and then he absent-mindedly cross contaminated my food with the gluten-containing soy sauce, even when I asked him again to use the gf sauce or keep my meal plain. He then continued to use the contaminated surface to cook another serving, even when I politely asked him to clean it first due to my allergy. He argued with me!
The good: when I told the (extremely helpful) waiter of the situation, he handled the situation expertly and remade the meal.
The ugly: I could hear the awful chef arguing loudly in the kitchen with the rest of the staff while the waiter tried to fix the situation! So uncomfortable, that chef ruined the whole experience. So embarrassing and unwelcoming!
