I had an okay experience here because I asked a lot of questions and was diligent. They have a small handful of items listed on their menu as GF, one was a quinoa bowl which is what I ordered. I asked if the Old Well White vinaigrette that comes as part of the meal is Gf. The server was helpful and checked and found that it was NOT GF because it’s made from their beer. She came with a list of dressings that were GF.

The lesson here is that this item, including the vinaigrette, was listed as GF on the menu, but wasn’t. Be very careful, but you can find a few safe things here if needed.

Not only do they leave limited GF options and know nothing about CC, they were super rude when I requested a burger without a bun. Made some comment (loudly) about me being in a diet. And the burgers aren’t even that good. If you need bread to have good burgers, you don’t make good burgers. Will not be going back.

Told server I had Celiac disease. Salad was delivered by another server and had a roll on top. They remade the salad, and it was ok.

My salad with blackened chicken came to table with a roll on the salad. I should have sent it back as my stomach acted up 1 hr later. Definitely request change of gloves with who is preparing your food to avoid cross contamination

Went here with a colleague tonight while in town to recruit at UNC and was pleasantly surprised. They had a very extensive gluten free menu- it was basically their main menu with notes on what would be substituted or removed to make gluten free. I'm so used to having limited choices that I was a little overwhelmed by having so many options. Went with the hot bacon spinach salad with grilled chicken. Was a nice large portion with a light sweet citrus dressing and very good. Would definitely come back if I'm in town again. Bonus- great place to watch the sunset.
