Came here because the menu and reviews mention gluten free. Before ordering I asked the staff at the front if their potatoes on the gluten free dishes were cooked in a shared fryer, rendering them not gluten free. Yes, they are cooked in a shared fryer.

One of the women behind the counter said GF means "gluten friendly" not "gluten free." What does that even mean? People who aren't able to eat gluten aren't friendly to gluten. She said their food is cross contaminated so it's not safe for Celiacs.

I have Celiac and asked what I could have that is safe for Celiacs and they said the granola bowl or the ancient grains bowl that contains FARRO - a type of wheat! Wheat contains gluten. Clearly they have no idea what gluten is if they suggest a dish with farro.

I said, "if it's not safe for Celiacs, it's not gluten free. I wish you'd take off these gluten free markings when it's not gluten free."

People who have a wheat allergy or Celiac like me depend on accurate markings. Having a shared fryer but falsely marking your food gluten free is like marking your food kosher or vegan and cooking it in lard. It's false advertising that could make someone sick.

Gluten free isn't a fad or a marketing tool. It's a necessary designation that people with medical conditions rely on to eat safely.

Unfortunately I had little confidence that this was a celiac safe place for breakfast after talking with a helpful waitress thus we left.

They can only ensure salads are gluten free. All other food is in the same prep area and they no longer take additional precautions.

I was unable to eat here. While some items are marked gluten free, I was told none are safe for celiacs other than salads (it was breakfast so there were no salads offered).

The stars offered are for the food consumed by my non-celiac son, who enjoyed his meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The cashier asked me if I was celiac, and said they have a celiac button that they push to ensure they prepare our food in a safe area! Things like this are sooo appreciated! They have great options as well! Oh, and it’s kids friendly!

So I was literally told I would not be accommodated, and although there were several GF marked foods....none could be guaranteed gluten free. I asked the person at the counter if they could at least try to prevent contamination, and she said no. Once I spoke with the manager, who is also a claimed celiac person....he said if noted they could try to prevent cross contamination as much as possible. He said he didn’t understand the reason why she wouldn’t agree to at least tell the kitchen. They gave a bunch of excuses but still indicate Gluten Free on menu which I feel is mis leading. The Steak that was the only gluten free entree....was definitely super gristly, and for the first time I didn’t finish my steak. I really am a foodie and hardly ever give a bad review...this one gets it! I feel like it was a waste of money. The blisters in my mouth are the indication nothing here is truly gluten free.

Only a few options that are truly celiac friendly, but it was very good. The major bummer was that they have a huge case of “goodies,” some of which are GF, but all the baked wheat crumby things are spread throughout so I couldn’t eat any of it. I suggested they reserve the top shelf only for GF... maybe if they hear that a few times, they’ll do it!

Along with offering gluten free bread as an option within their menu they are always accommodating customers requests to make things gluten free. PLUS they have a pastry case that always has at least 2 things that are gluten free and sometimes their pie case even has some gluten free options! Did I mention that the pastries and pies are all baked in house?! YUM!
