DO NOT eat here if you have Celiac, it's not safe!! We went for lunch based on word of mouth reviews and reviews here about how they use separate everything. Luckily, I had a seat where I could see how my pizza was being made. While the prep was done in a separate room, the pizza was placed in the regular oven along with my husband's gluten order and was taken out with the same paddle I had observed be used on other gluten items. When I questioned it, I was told that the oven was partitioned off for my gluten free pizza because they didn't have the gluten free oven running (they don't use the gluten free oven during lunch because it's too costly.) I was then told that gluten is a protein and the oven is 1000 degrees so the protein has no chance of surviving. Funny, if that's the case, then shouldn't the regular pizzas be all gluten free after coming out of the oven? After speaking to the waiter and chef, they agreed to start the gluten free oven and remake my pizza using a gluten free paddle. The pizza was ok. I did not eat all of it so when I got home I used my Nima Sensor to test it and it came back positive for gluten. Guess I know what I'll be doing the rest of the day. 😕
