Cannot rave enough about this experience. The food was delicious, the drink I had was incredible, and the executive chef Alfonso came out to personally tell me that he monitored my food to ensure it was gluten free and safe for me. I thanked him profusely and explained that not everyone “gets” the importance of caution for Celiacs, and he apologized that I’ve ever had bad experiences in other restaurants. At the end of the meal, he brought out a slice of squash pie, assured me it was also gluten free, and said it was on the house because eating out hasn’t always been easy in other places. I was incredibly touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness. It meant so much that I was not only directly told how careful they were with my food, but that he took the time to just be thoughtful and bring out a dessert.
