To be fair, I went in knowing it was risky because my husband really wanted to try it. The menu didn’t mention gluten or food allergies, and I was concerned about a language barrier when talking to the restaurant staff. I asked about the house tortilla chips and how they are prepared and the server confirmed they were made in shared fryer, and understood that I had a “wheat allergy” (Celiac). I ordered the nopales salad and enchiladas verde, which appeared GF from the menu description… but on the way home I started feeling sick and I vomited within the hour. It’s the next day now, and am having toilet troubles. The food was tasty, but I will not be going back and my husband will be eating my leftovers.
