Delicious gf burgers and shakes in a fun, unique atmosphere. The cashier was confusing gluten free with lactose free, but her coworker was on top of it! Gf buns were good, fries and topping are gf and delicious. It was a great stop!

This place is great for gluten free. Tons of protein options. I had Buffalo added to my kale salad. The fries are fried in a dedicated fryer so celiac safe. They have buckets of different flavored pickles that are fun! Friendly and efficient staff. The restaurant itself is a bit sticky and dark. There are projectors playing sports and music so I understand the low lighting but it also makes the atmosphere a little weird. Will def be back!

Got glutened. Asked about toppings that are gf (cheese, bacon, etc) and the reply was “all good”. When I pressed for specifics, I got the same answer. Asked for a manager and he assured me the American cheese and bacon were ok. Not so! The fryer is dedicated and the fries were good (hand cut, fresh) but definitely would not go back.

Staff was very knowledgeable about celiac. I ordered a burger bowl and fries. Fries are cooked in separate fryer so are safe. I did not get sick and I am extremely sensitive.

I paid extra for a gluten free bun. It literally snowed on my plate when I picked it up to eat it. The bun was also cold. When I complained, a manager offered a new bun, but said it was the product...they were all that way! I suggested they try a different product. Not worth the wait or the money!

The staff seems knowledgeable about gluten allergies. They offer a gluten free burger bun that’s very good, but a little crumbly. The burgers are huge and a bit greasy but delicious. I’d give it five stars if not for the price. Did not get sick! Definitely recommend!

Delicious burger. GF bun was cut weird, really thick on top and bottom thin enough to get a little soggy. Tasted good though! Fries are gluten free. House made chipotle ancho ketchup was awesome! Housemade drinks were good too. All in all a positive experience.

The burger I ordered was absolutely delicious. The staff was knowledgeable and they had a GF menu when asked. The potato chips are GF and were amazing! Would definitely recommend!

I had the Happy Pilgrim with GF bun. Delicious! I am delighted to say that if my husband had not tasted the bun, I would not have known it was GF. He had the Freshman 15 made with buffalo and was over the moon about its flavor. Fries and pickle bar were also wonderful! Dedicated frier so no CC. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very delicious! They have a gluten free menu online and there are a lot of options. The gf buns are really crumbly, but delicious. They ask if it’s an allergy or a dietary choice, and notify the cooks. They have the fries in a separate fryer, too! I’ve gone here several times and never gotten sick!

I recently ate at the Twisted Root. From ordering to leaving satisfied, it was a great experience. The cashier was knowledgeable about gluten and helped me order. They have a dedicated fryer so I had the French fries. I ordered a burger off the build your own menu and it was delicious. They have gf buns, too. The atmosphere is fun and edgy. My husband and two friends raved about their food and we all had a wonderful time. This is my new favorite burger place!

My verde burger was outstanding, on a terrific gf bun. I had the chips though, and i think there's gluten in the seasoning. Having a reaction to something, and the burger was pretty straight forward. Make sure you question the sides when you order.

Good, messy, juicy burger on a gf bun. They said their French fry fryer was a dedicated fryer. I enjoyed this place. My husband did too.

We were so pleased with the quality of everything here. They make their own buns and the gluten free ones are large! And the fries are gf with no cross contamination. I could have cried for joy! Just for good measure we got a shakes. I was so full that if I ate another bite I would have exploded and you would have found bits of me all over the country.

Today was a fiasco. changing gloves means changing BOTH gloves. food was okay. nothing spectacular. the manager tevin tried his best and we appreciate the effort. but there needs to be more education in criss contamination.

The service was impeccable. It was honestly some of the best service I have ever had in my life. The food was really good. They lost a star because there were no real places for a high chair even though they did try. It was also a bit loud for my taste but I would have loved it 15 years ago. Haha!

Gluten-free burger buns!!! I love Twisted Root because they actually ask you if your gluten-free order is because of an allergy or a preference. They have a special 'allergy' button, so I always feel safe ordering from here.

Lunch on the 11th was great. Was informed their onion straws were GF, kitchen staff caught the error and came out to chat. Subbed for grilled green beans and carrots.

Came back on 13th for dinner and a very different experience. Staff was not confident. Cashier argued that the onion straws were GF (def not) and the kitchen didn't seem to know about the grilled beans and carrots. Kitcheb staff also stacked prep bowls on top of veggies while they sat in window (gross), and definitely cross contaminated (and then they argued that they didnt do it).

Do NOT tip when you order, as they prompt you. Make them prove themselves first.

I love this spot! They have a dedicated fryer for the fries and lots of burger options. The gluten free bun is nicely toasted as well and they prepare it safely for celiacs.
