Twisted Waffles

They are able to make any of their waffles GF. I had the “Burst of Berries” waffle. I ordered takeout after talking to them in person, but I saw afterwards that I could have swapped out the waffle for GF via their online ordering system. You have to click on the (non-GF) type of waffle you want first, then there is an option to swap it out for GF. Sadly their potatoes are not GF.

Got to eat a delicious gluten free waffle! I enjoyed the waffle. Unfortunately, the iced latte was watered down and the service was very slow.

Recommend not eating here if you have a wheat allergy - their gluten free waffle mix contains wheat which I was assured of by two different people so I didn’t eat anything for safety as a celiac.

If you’re just gluten free though you may be okay. The waitress was really sweet and asked me to show her some gluten-free waffle mixes without wheat on her phone so maybe they’ll change their mix in the future.

Delicious food, great service! This is locally owned. The owner and her daughter were very accommodating and knowledgeable about gluten. Came here twice on our visit to NOLA. Had a vanilla latte, Burst of Berries (gf) waffle, seasoned potatoes, and scrambled eggs with cheese. This will be a regular stop for us when we are in NOLA!

TW is a staple to my NOLA trips. Visiting in 2023 alone I’ve been 4x and every time is enjoyable. I love their GF Belgium waffle options, I normally pair it with eggs their DELICIOUS bacon, and some sausage. 10/10 highly recommended!

Make sure your server knows you have an allergy. Food was great until I found a little piece of fried chicken in my potatoes.

We had to wait a bit to be seated, but well worth it. We are only in NOLA for a few days and already planning to return. The GF waffle was good, the side of potatoes was ridiculously good. Really enjoyed everyone we spoke to.

This place has the absolute best gluten Free waffle! The restaurant really takes their time with each order, so everything tasted really fresh. I also enjoyed their omelet and breakfast potatoes. The best part was that the gf waffle re-heated perfectly the next day. It was delicious.
