Had a great experience and food is awesome! I told server, Bryan, I had celiac disease, and he was very helpful with my selections. I had the seafood risotto and also charbroiled oysters (awesome!).

Got the seafood risotto which was labeled gluten free and spoke to the server about having celiac. She said they would use gloves and be careful. About thirty minutes after eating here got nauseous and had stomach issues. I was sick for about a week. Would not eat there again. Which is sad because the food did taste great

Amazing experience! Our server Brooke, was amazing about my gluten restrictions and I had a super safe meal! This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tampa and I feel confident bringing any of my friends with allergies here! I’ve eaten here 4 times and never been sick once.

Went there for dinner with my celiac daughter. Within a half hour we were both sick and racing toward the hotel. I made sure the waitress new we both had celiacs and would get sick if we were cross contaminated. She said she would make sure to note gf. That apparently wasn’t sufficient. Food was delicious but not gf.

Gorgeous outdoor seating, great GF options, excellent food. Items are marked GF on the menu and the server was familiar when I asked her to have the kitchen change gloves. This may be my new favorite restaurant in Tampa!

Amazing food at a great atmosphere! Had the Gouda Grouper with the rice and green beans. It was amazing. It is pricey but the food was phenomenal! Husband got the seafood risotto and I stole a bite and it was just as fabulous!

Their menu is marked with gluten free items but there are other items (most of the fish entrees) that can be made GF by substituting mashed potatoes or a vegetable for the rice/couscous medley. The server, Taylor, was very knowledgeable and mentioned my dish would be cooked separately and safely without me saying anything about cross contamination. He also distinguished between celiac and sensitivity for our order. Special mention that this restaurant has such a fun and beautiful atmosphere at the edge of the park overlooking the river.

Excellent food and fun atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating options. Beef tenderloin, twice baked potato, and jalapeño grit cake all delicious. Also have GF flourless chocolate tort and home made ice cream but no room to try those.

Ulele is always great at making sure everything is prepared separately and gluten free. Items on the menu are clearly marked gluten free and the servers are very knowledgeable. I'm very sensitive and I've been here several times, and I've never had any issues.

Amazing food, knowledgeable kind staff, and delicious ice cream. They have multiple friers for different fried items and the manager made me feel confident in the food I was eating was safe. I did not get sick!

Fantastic food!! I got the sea bass, which was not listed as gf because it's served with rice that has pasta in it, they subbed it for the mashed potatoes. I would totally recommend this place but call ahead and make reservations. Very kid friendly as well

This local Tampa restaurant has probably about 40% of their menu with clearly marked GF options on their menu. Our waiter, Evan, was very knowledgeable and provided some great insight to the options. The portions are a nice size and I felt like I got my money’s worth.

I have diner at this unique restaurant several times and have had great success! When ordering the charbroiled oysters GF, I ask them to put the bread on the side. One time when ordering during a very busy rush, they left the bread in the middle of the platter. Love the flourless chocolate cake too!

Menu is labeled gluten free, however you need to make sure to explain you are celiac to your waiter. Our appetizer came out with bread on top of it after we ordered it gluten free. We became cautious with the rest of our meal but our waiter reassured us the mistake wouldn’t happen again. Food was delicious and I did not get sick.

My wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch and plan to return again. Excellent food and a good choice of GF. Our waitress was very helpful and even double checked a sauce brought on the side for a GF item with the chef to assure that it was safe. The manager advised that they use a separate fryer for the fried GF items but that all grilled items are cooked on the same grill. Assure that you tell your waiter or waitress that you are celiac and cannot have even small quantities of any food containing GF. If you do, they will inform the kitchen to thoroughly clean the grill before preparing your order.

Chef Eric did a great job explaining gluten free menu choices to us, and talked us through ingredients they use to prepare or modify meals. He personally assured us that gluten and other allergens could and would be avoided. We had a delicious and safe meal here, while enjoying a beautiful sunset!
