From a Celiac/Gluten Free Perspective- this place is not safe. We went here for dinner because the prior reviews mentioned gluten free options and a gluten free menu.
Arrived at restaurant and let the server know that my daughters are both Celiac and need their good to be gluten free. I asked to see the gluten free menu that was mentioned on this app. There was not one printed, nor did the menu mark which items could be made gluten free. But the server came back with some screen shots of what her ordering software shows for gluten free options.
We ordered the Mushroom Trio app, the Love Roll and the Gardner roll. All on her software as gluten free. I reminded the server that she should also let the chef know directly as they may need to change gloves or prepare on a different surface. She assured us not to worry.
Fast forward- the food arrives and my daughter asks if they have any gluten free dipping sauces, similar to duck sauce, that she could have to dip her sushi in. The answer was that none of their sauces are gluten free. Look down on the Love roll- and I asked- even this passion sauce on this roll? NOPE. At this point- my daughter has already eaten two pieces with the sauce drizzled all over it.
Check in with my second daughter with her Mushroom Trio- took a bite and realized there was a soy sauce based sauce on the mushrooms. And sure enough- this was also not gluten free.
So we paid the bill- and I stayed back to give some constructive feedback to the manager. They told me that they moved away from the gluten free options on the menu. So the electronic order doesn’t cross over with the Gluten Free flag to let the chef know that there is a Celiac Diner present. I told them at the very least- they should educate their staff- as I now will have two sick girls to deal with.

Great gluten free menu and plenty of alternative. I’ve done the omakase and it was so good and also ordering off the gluten free regular menu is very safe! Great sushi

I have good luck eating here. There has been a time or two when proper precautions weren’t taken (my sushi was on the same plate as my husband’s gluten-containing sushi). However, we caught it and they corrected the issue. That was just once out of many times dining here. They do have gluten free soy sauce on request.
