*THERE IS GLUTEN (Tempura crisps) IN THEIR SUSHI ROLLS* I have celiac disease. I ordered a few rolls to-go. I took one bite and felt something off, so I called and asked about it and they said they put tempura crisps in their spicy tuna rolls. Nowhere on their menu does it say that, and they blamed me, "All our locals know, you must be from out of town." Why does that matter? I told them this was extremely dangerous and they needed to add it to their menu immediately, and I was told, "well you should have asked." I eat sushi regularly all over the country and have NEVER seen tempura crisps added to spicy tuna rolls, plus it wasn't in the ingredients on the menu. Why would I ask?? I was sick the whole night, and this meal was supposed to be a special birthday dinner for myself. It was our first time and I'll never eat at this restaurant again. I hope they realize how dangerous that is, they could literally kill someone adding a common allergen to something and not properly labeling it. So just sharing for anyone else with a gluten sensitivity/allergy/intolerance. This is unacceptable.
