Umu Japanese&Thai

Having travelled around Japan and Thailand myself, I loved this restaurant! The decor is so culturally authentic. The restaurant has a cute little sushi bar filled with fresh seafood, like you would see in Japan. The menu has a lot of authentic dishes and choices. My husband had the sushi and I had Pad Thai. Only the Thai food could be made gluten free but both our dishes were very tasty, fresh, and of a good portion size. The staff were really friendly too. We will definitely go back to this restaurant!

Ordered over the phone for pick up. Spoke with two different people at the front desk, the first person confirmed they can do gluten free and we said we would review the menu before ordering. Called back and got a second person who was equally knowledgeable about their gluten free capabilities. Ordered two rolls gluten free. They came boxed in their own box that was marked GF and with a takeout container of GF soy sauce.
