This place had such good reviews that I think I got my hopes up. They only use imitation crab and they fry all of there shrimp. They use soy sauce in their ginger dressing with no alternative. They only have one soup and it is also made with regular soy sauce. I ordered teriyaki chicken with fried rice and veggies as well as a bagel roll. The roll was great and the rest was okay. My husband ordered non gf teriyaki chicken and his was saturated in sauce but mine came out completely dry. The staff did know all the questions I asked. However, I was cross contamination. I knew before we even paid.

I’m writing this at 10 PM because I am craving sushi right now and remembered this place. I’ve eaten here many times as a Celiac, and always felt safe. I like the fried rice and their sushi. Almost anything can be made gluten free.

They really will make anything gluten free here! Teriyaki chicken, yum yum sauce, sushi, fried rice, even fried and breaded Katsu chicken! When I requested the Katsu chicken, I didn’t actually expect them to be able to make it, and apparently the chef had never tried making it GF before. He gave it a shot anyway, and it was absolutely delicious.
I didn’t think to ask about a designated gluten free fryer until later, but given that they’d never tried making anything fried gluten free before, I seriously doubt they have one. Would still HIGHLY recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

They are knowledgeable of gluten allergy and were able to make substitutions for sushi rolls that had gluten. We substituted crab stick for salmon. They also had gluten free soy sauce!
