This restaurant offers gluten free but not safe for celiac's.

I personally am celiac and I know some cooks in this kitchen that have told me do not eat food from there.

There is nothing wrong with this restaurant but it's just not safe for someone who is celiac.

My daughter has celiac and we go to Uncle Bill’s for GF pancakes all the time. Definitely recommend!

they have gluten free options but it contains almonds if allergic to tree nuts.... when asking waitress if contained gluten she didn’t know

They say they have gluten free pancakes but there cooked on the same surface as there regular pancakes, so you can’t really call them gf.. If you have celiac like me all you can have are bacon, eggs and fruit. So this place isn’t the best celiac friendly pancake place. ☹

Had chocolate chip pancakes and eggs that were both delicious at the 40th street location. I can’t say that it was celiac friendly but the food was good.

The 40th street restaurant.....I went there this morning and got the gluten free pancakes. I asked the girl if the syrup aaa gluten free as well and said "I don't think so. I don't know what gluten is though". After I told her I'm allergic and absolutely can't have it, she went into the back to ask someone. She came out two seconds later and said "it's gluten free"... so I ate my pancakes, left the restaurant and as soon as I got in the car I was sick. I don't know what it was, either the pancakes or the syrup. Make sure you double check before you eat there.

Server was unaware of menu. GF pancakes are cooked in same area as regular. Were willing to clean griddle, but not a guarantee. Luckily, eggs and potatoes are cooked separately.

Not really a GIC restaurant. They use the same grill and utensils for all pancakes. Overall, good food (if you know what to order). Expensive.

my family has been here twice-- once off season, once on. they were very attentive and eager to accommodate to my sister with celiac. she's had the gluten free pancakes twice, each time with no later difficulties, and the first time, the waitress even recommended the gluten free pancake mix they used! will come again.

Very risky place for sure. My sister was adamant about trying it. Waiter warned toaster and waffle iron are shared. He said pancakes would be safest since they use a separate area of the griddle. I chose a breakfast sandwich with untoasted bread just in case. No reaction from sandwich. The effort to have gf waffles and toast is nice but wish it could proper preparation for celiacs. My sister whom doesn’t have immediate ramifications said gf pancakes were delicious 🤷🏻‍♀🙈

Many options! Big portions…everything was delicious! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Best gluten free blueberry pancakes I’ve ever had! We’ve been here multiple times and I’ve never gotten sick. They know exactly how to handle GF for Celiacs.

it was so good!! I have celiac and I didn’t not get skin from the GF French Toast or Bacon!! I told them I had a gluten allergy. They where very concerned about it!
