Stopped by after a visit with my kiddo to the Discovery Place nearby. Located in a strip mall. Fairly quiet when we arrived and the person helping us was super nice. He immediately said he’d change gloves, offered to grab ingredients from below, and was very helpful. They offer gf crust and gf cauliflower crust. I had gf and it was crunchy and tasty. Good spot for a faster bite to eat.

Uncle Maddio's is delicious and safe! When I told them I had Celiac, they immediately changed their gloves. I had some concerns about cross contamination from the toppings, but did not react as a sensitive Celiac (and I'm sure you could ask for toppings from the back, as another reviewer mentioned). Their gluten free pizza crust is very good. They also had a couple gluten free desserts, including a chocolate torte.

This pizza shop is great for GF pizza and delicious. Depending on your level of sensitivity, they will even get ingredients from the fresh cut containers that are no our on the food bar.

My first time here and I couldn’t be more impressed and pleased with my meal and overall experience! They were very knowledgeable about celiac, changed gloves, separated pans, all toppings and sauces came from separate containers. I had the truffle mushroom pizza and a Greek salad. All dressings are also GF. Didn’t get sick, and was very tasty!

AMAZING!! My father and I both have celiac disease and this is our #1 pizza place. Never had any problems here they are always very cautious and accommodating. Love this place!

All staff that handled my pizza changed gloves immediately upon learning of my Celiacs. All toppings (including sauce) came from separate containers. They also had designated pans for GF crust.

Good pizza that i enjoyed because ingredients were marked as gf and gloves were changed. A meal is always better with assurances.

Pizza was really good with a wide variety of toppings to choose from. The staff took our need for gluten free seriously and changed gloves and used separate utensils. Very impressed!

Andre’ is amazing. Entire staff took the time to take our allergy seriously! Pulled ingredients from the bottom. When she realized she made a mistake, she made it right! Great staff, great product, can’t wait to come back!! Thank you!!!

My son and I are both GF. They let me read the label for the GF flour they use for the crust and it fit our restrictions. Great pepperoni pizza!

It's nice to have a place that we can go to with friends or family where everyone can order their own individual pizzas..... and that my kids with celiac can NOT feel any different! Pizzas are good.... have nice variety of toppings! My kids haven't gotten sick here.... yet..... but BIG chance for cross contamination.

Their GF crust is the best!!! Plus they change their gloves and the staff is very knowledgeable as to what is GF and what isn't. Love how much they care and LOVE the taste!!

Delicious pizza (even my non celiac boyfriend thought so!) They had gluten free crust, changed their gloves and had separate pizza sauce for the gluten pizzas to avoid cross contamination. I highly recommend this place. A fast and easy meal for celiacs!

GF pizzas, salads, dessert. Fresh-made pizza is assembled in front of you with new gloves, etc. with tons of fresh (most GF) topping choices. Service is outstanding; they are knowledgable and take GF seriously.

Great dinner while visiting Highpoint University. Counter service and great efforts with safety precautions. When we told them it was for celiac, they wiped down all counters, changed gloves, and pulled out all fresh topping containers from inventory. Pizzas were really tasty on thin crisp crust. We tried the chicken bbq and margarita pizza. They also had David’s GF brownies!

January 13, 2024--tried this place based on the high recommendations on this site. Our review echoes what's been said before: staff changed gloves and followed allergy protocols. Our cheese and pepperoni came from under the counter and the staff communicated well as the food passed down the line from person to person. No ill effects afterwards. Good taste too--similar to another place we enjoy. The kids had finished their pizzas before we even got back to the hotel.

I used to work here. So much cross contamination happens here. The pans that the pizza is cooked on is never washed and when i say never i mean never, not once within the 2 years i worked there were they washed they said it makes it lose the flavor and yes the gluten pizzas are cooked on them too, there are no separate pans for the “allergy” station. Please keep in mind gluten pizza is also brought on to this allergen station when the allergen is dairy. It’s not celiac safe at all.
