Not Celiac safe.
The restaurant was beautiful and the food was delicious. The service was pretty bare bones. We saw our waiter so little that eventually another waiter took over because we sat so long.
The waiter did not understand what Celiac was and didn't even seem to get the concept of allergy safety. A different waiter might have changed our experience, but I'm not so sure. It seemed like they were more concerned with take out orders than the dining room.
My wife had the orange chicken and I had the sesame chicken. As I said, the flavors were great and the plating was nice. The atmosphere was great. Other than the service, we enjoyed our time there. Shortly after, it became clear that she was served gluten. It wasn't a mild case either.
If you are celiac, I recommend finding a safer location. NYC has much safer restaurants.
