We spent 4 nights in Stockholm and ate here at least once every day. For breakfast they have a very European sandwich with ham, cheese, tomato, and cucumber. Just ask for gluten free bread and they’ll make yours fresh in the back. The bread is lovely. Far superior to anything I’ve had in the US. It has little bits of carrot baked in to help with moisture. Does not fall apart like most gf bread. They do have a gluten free baker and they had Swedish princess cake, carrot cake, almond cake, lemon glazed cake, biscotti, chocolate fudge cake, and these chocolate mouse meringue things. All gluten free. I tried nearly everything and it was all good. They also offer oat milk for coffees. The two girls who worked mid week all week were fantastic. Make sure to stop here.

They no longer serve gluten free at this time - looking for a new baker. Just a heads up — there still may be other items available gluten free

The baker is not there any longer:( but they are looking for a new one. You can have gluten free müsli and yogurt and still some cookies for breakfast. Also they have gf items that do not include bread, such as salads, meatballs, etc. If you want to have a glass of wine it is a nice place as well.
I have had meatballs. I was assured they contain no gluten and the sousse is also safe for celiac people. They do not have separate place to prepare gf food so there is always a risks of cross contamination however I didn't have any issues after the meal. Happy to eat traditional meatballs.

Had the meatballs with everything and chocolate cake with no issue. Staff assured this was all GF.
Also tried the burger (with GF bread) and fries (fryer all for GF food).

I got the Swedish meatballs without issue. They also had a separate case for GF sweets, but I did not try them. I was happy to be able to have Swedish meatballs in Sweden!

A bakery offering gluten free and none gluten free options. Staff was able to tell my girlfriend what was gluten free and not. They are separated from the gluten free products. They are also a restaurant but we only used the cafe. Good coffee but the first I've tried in Sweden. The gluten free carrot cake was delicious.

They have glutenfree burgers, seafood stew, etc. plus one glutenfree beer (menu says three, but two where out when we are there,). Pasta cannot be offered glutenfree.
Staff is knowledgable, but I was served the wrong dish at first!!!! They served the got cheese starter with rehular bread at first despite all my explanations about the importance of glutenfree. They would have made me eat normal bread had i now asked for the ingredients!
My boyfried liked the seafoid stew, I'm not a fan of their food save for the got cheese starter (they sent it again with in glutenfree)
Sorry to say but I can't really recommend this place.

Went here based on all of the positive reviews. We have actually been twice now, once for dinner and then for breakfast/kaffe. They are very knowledgeable and take gf very seriously. For the dinner, I had the Swedish meatballs and they were delicious. It was so exciting to have meatballs and not have to worry!! Will definitely be back a third time. This has been my favorite restaurant in Stockholm this far.

Went back here multiple times! Delicious gluten-free options. Nice bread for the breakfast-sandwiches as well as the nice granola for the yogurt. For dinner they had several options and the whole dessert menu could be made gluten-free. Really nice experience to have so much to choose from!

Under Kastanjen, tucked away in the city's old town (Gamla Stan) is fantastic! They have a 100% gluten-free bakery (complete with a separate ventilation system from their main bakery) and most of their brunch and dinner menu can be made gf. My favourite is the Swedish Meatballs. If it's warm outside, the courtyard, literally under a chestnut tree, is a picture-perfect place to sit!
Yes
Their menu is mostly gluten-free and the few dishes that contain a gluten side can be easily modified. They have a dish for everyone. We ordered the salmon stew with saffron and the Swedish meatballs. Our desserts consisted of chocolate mousse with marinated wild blue berries and lastly the chocolate cheesecake with a gingerbread crust. No negative reaction and everything was exceptional. Their bakery is completely gluten free. Definitely will return.
Yes
Perfect breakfast in a beatiful place, they have diferents glutenfree cakes.
Yes
The most wonderful service and meal! Free gluten free bread served at the beginning of the meal from the fully gluten free bakery next door (so no cross contamination!) I had the Toast Skagen on gf bread to start and the Swedish Meatballs as my entree. Everything was AMAZING! The restaurant itself is very cute and quaint and seemed to be filled with locals- so made it that much better and more authentic feeling. Couldn’t recommend it more!
Yes
Plenty of GF choices, including beers. The Swedish meatballs were very good and the serving size was plentiful. Staff was knowledgeable.
Yes
Super dope Swedish meatballs and carrot cake! Got cake, a latte, and the meatballs with mashed potatoes for only 262K. I also know they have gf bread for toast and sandwiches but I didn’t try it.
Swedish meatball platter and GF beer in courtyard under beautiful tree. Like a dream come true.
Yes
So excited to be able to have the herring starter and the Swedish Meatballs..they were all fantastic! My hubbie and I could’ve shared..so much dood..so good!
Yes
Delicious Swedish meatballs and grilled sandwiches on the biggest GF bread. Was so good it was hard to believe it was GF 🤣 probably going to eat here again before we leave
Tried to go here 3 times on my trip to Stockholm. They haven't updated their website or Google but they are currently only open fri-sun for winter hours.
To be able to eat Swedish meatballs is exciting! Really delicious. Lots of dessert choices. Don’t go between 4 and 5pm as they are changing between lunch /dinner and you can only get a coffee /dessert.
Yes
Good for both celiacic and others. Have excellent gluten-free sandwiches that you can order and eat there or buy to take home.
Yes
This is a great place to eat. The day we went for lunch, they could do everything on the small menu gluten free. They had a wide range of cakes available as well
Yes
Our first meal in Stockholm and it was a winner! GF burger for my son and safe fries AND even dessert. They completely understand gf and cross-contamination. They even offer more traditionally Swedish dishes gf, too. Gf beer on the menu as well. A cute location, a little pricey— but a safe delicious meal is worth it.
Yes
Lots of GF pastry, desert options.

Our boys are in heaven! Best gluten free birthday cake so far!😀
Nice selection of GF and maintained on separate side from gluten pastries. Was expecting more of a restaurant than a pastry heavy cafe but our son who has Celiac had two slices of lemon cake and we enjoyed ours as well. Keep it up!
website says not celiac friendly. not dedicated facility and its a bakery, so they suggest celiac people stay away due to contamination
