Well, this was disappointing. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and I chose Unum's because the menu was so clearly marked with GF options. The appetizer was wonderful (scallops with bacon jam), but my first clue something was wrong was when I asked about the hoisin sauce listed as part of their GF duck entree. Our server informed me that hoisin is GF. That depends, as most commerically prepared hoisin is not. She said that the restuarant must make theiur own because the dish is definitely GF. When we received our entrees, my duck had neither the sauce not the chutney listed on the menu, and our server said, oh sorry it isn't GF. I wish they had told me before bringing plain duck with no sauce. The meat was fine, but it was served with overcooked bok choy and a "risotto" that was absolutely not risotto (I make risotto at least once a month and this was rice with cheese). As we left the restaurant, I wasn't feeling well and became quite sick upon returning to our hotel. What a terrible experience--not safe for celiacs!
