Uptown Cafe

Uptown Café offers gluten-free bread gluten free pancakes. They say they can make any of their sandwiches with the bread. Here’s the problem they put the bread in the same toaster as the other bread. They cook the pancakes on the same griddle as the other pancakes. Everything is cross contaminated his place is not good for celiacs and true allergies

Someone in the owners family has Celiac Disease, so they are always accommodating of my requests. They make eggs and hash browns in a separate pan upon request. They can also do gluten free pancakes on a separate surface (though she told me when they are very busy this is more challenging). I’ve always enjoyed my meal and felt great after!
