Super organic café offering a breakfast menu and light lunches. Almost everything is available gluten-free and the staff were knowledgeable and unfussed by a GF order. They even knew our choice of soft drink contained barley and suggested an alternative. Very impressed! It's a popular place, with good reason, so booking recommended, especially at weekends.

Everything was delicious! They have coconut milk since their pay I'll is not gluten free. Lovely peaceful place. Very tiny and definitely gets packed. I went pretty early during a week day and there was an hour wait by the time I left.

Super busy little cafe. Excellent service. Wished they did big breakfasts, but thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We got lucky with a table being available due to a cancellation - book ahead if you're planning on going. Would defo visit again.

Very handy for breakfast but really really busy on a weekend so show up early and pop your name on the list! Really knowledgeable about gluten free and make own gf bread which is very good toast! Most options on the menus can be made gluten free which is always a plus!

The gluten free bread here is seriously delicious but the GF cake selection can be a bit hit or miss. It can get really busy and I’ve had a few times when the waitress has been a bit confused by the mention of gluten but the kitchen has your back and I’ve never had an issue.

Amazing food and their bread is to die for! Lovely staff and great atmosphere. I had the toast with avocado, tomatoes and mushrooms. Was lovely!

Best to book ahead, as it can be difficult to get a seat. I had a delicious avocado toast with a poached egg and a delicious smoothie, followed by tea and the gf chocolate coconut cake. This is a place to linger and chat, so don’t expect speedy service. That said, the ambience is cozy and the food delicious.

Good menu with a variety of gluten-free options or substitutes. Server looked at me confused when I mentioned gluten, but my food came out just fine. Plenty of options for everyone
Today only one GF cake & that was dry & crumbly! Disappointing having read the reviews. Staff seemed rushed and not very helpful. Coffee was good but I won't be returning. Be aware the cafe is down about six steep steps, not accessible if you have a physical disability.

Great gf options! I had toast with preserves and curd, along with a poached egg and gf sausages. They also had df options and were well aware of cross contamination! A must in Edinburgh!

The waitress was coeliac and helped us a lot. There were many gluten free cakes. We had eggs Benedict on a gluten free toast and it was amazing. Just thought the guy at the front of the restaurant very rude. We asked him twice if we could order coffee while waiting for our table, and he said he would come to us but never did. He did serve a group of people that arrived after us though...
Great place with a cool atmosphere. They have a decent gluten free menu! I was able to eat there with no issues. Drip coffee was fair but I really loved the bottles of water on the table. Very friendly staff.
