Urban Fare

We went for breakfast and I asked to talk to the chef. Because both of us don't have English as first language, it seemed a bit hard. As soon as the sous-chef arrived, she reassured me. They toasted my toasts in the panini press between parchemin paper. They took all precautions while preparing my breakfast.

We were staying in the area and this turned out to be a mainstay. For meals, they have a selection of hot items (eggs made to order in the morning, protein and sides in evening). Prepared foods in the case are marked if GF, and staff is very knowledgeable (and has an ingredient list for double checking, if necessary). Additionally, there’s a tremendous selection of GF groceries down a few stairs, including packaged bakery items, frozen items, etc. Great neighborhood spot.

Excellent market with an extremely large selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, deli, bakery...Vegan, Gluten-free, items from around the world. Also an amazing take out counter with a multitude of selections for all types of diets.. tables availability both inside and outside.. Coffee and bakery items for takeout.. A great place if you read labels and know product lines.. not a sit down restaurant with menus. Staff was extremely helpful.. in fact deli staff even cleaned slicer and put on fresh gloves before slicing some ham for me..
