Second time I’ve been here and not only do I feel safe, I feel taken care of!

Amazing, hearty food. I have celiac disease and lactose interface, and I eat here regularly (once per week!). I’ve even catered parties and open houses. I stick to the stews and fries, although I hear the tacos are tasty. I always mention that I have celiac disease and request clean gloves and utensils.

Been a few times! Gf options are clearly labeled. Food is yummy. Menu item availablity seems inconsistent which is sometimes disappointing but there's multiple appetizing options at least!
I haven't had a reaction but I'm non celiac gluten sensitive

Not very many gluten free options. No longer serves waffles.
The only gluten is in the bun and the wraps, everything else he assured me was gluten-free. Even the dessert was gluten-free. Everything is vegan.
We love this restaurant !!!! We have been coming here since the day they opened. We have never had a negative reaction to there food.

Veg on the Edge is no longer 100% gluten free. They are adding gluten options to their menu to appeal to a wider clientele. Last week, I observed 2 employees not washing their hands after touching a cell phone, a cordless phone, their iPad that customers touch, and customer credit cards. Such a basic lack of food safety protocol.
helpful staff at counter in food court. food uninspired, veggies way over cooked. they make their own gf rolls but they were overcooked as well and very hard. w

Great food - all gluten-free, (and vegan, organic and kosher). There's likely something for everyone, but there are also some very unique dishes (consider the "Moin Moin" - a West African specialty). The food is all made on site. As of this writing, the restaurant is still in "soft opening," so the menu is expanding with a new dish every few days.
In addition to the Moin Moin, I've had both the Shiitake Fried Rice and the Spicy Tempeh with Quinoa. All come with delicious potato balls or plantain fries. I also like the Raw Plantain salad and the Sweet Potato / Peanut Soup.
And there are fresh organic juices from whole fruit and/or greens. Finally, the date-oat bars are a great surprise - tasty and not too sweet.
Note that the place is in a food court connected with the museum in the heart of Santa Cruz. There are several other (non-vegan) establishments, including coffee, pizza and a beer/wine bar.
Completely Vegan and gluten free! Really good new spot. Right next door to a pizza place in a food court so not celiac friendly.
