Good food. No gluten free menu but kitchen seems knowledgeable about what is/isn't safe if asked. Had the salmon piccata with broccoli and a salad and did not get sick.

More mature waitstaff was knowledgeable while the younger ones seemed to need to run back and ask. I always get the Chicken Bruschetta with baked potato and broccoli. Some salads are safe of course as are many fish and seafood dishes.
Waitstaff was very uneducated. Had to keep running to the kitchen to ask about the sauces. No gf noodles or buns. Your only choice really is a steak and I'd seriously question the cross contamination factor. This used to be my favorite restaurant pre diagnosis. Now I'll never go back.
We have been to the Venango Valley Inn on many occassions with friends and for dinner parties. The food is always delicious, the portions are generous and the service is excellent. While they do not have gluten free menu, my wife, who must be gluten free, has been able to adapt several menu items to meet her needs. The staff is very accomodating. Call ahead for reservations especially on weekends.
