I went to both Ventis. This is The better of the two. Better prepared food. They are always up on GF. Delicious bowls with vegan and GF Options

We stopped in for a late lunch last week and had a newer server who wasn’t familiar with Celiac but was willing to double-check my questions with the kitchen. I ended up ordering a brown rice bowl with ginger tofu, fresh cabbage, and pickled ginger. It was really tasty, kind of on the small side though. (I’d order it again with the additional sautéed veggies they offered.) Bonus: they had Ghostfish Kickstep IPA on draft! No reactions to the food afterward.

Gluten free items are marked on the menu, just be sure to tell them about gluten. Ordered the seasoned beef tacos and shared chicken nachos. Tacos were good! Also had 3 GF beer options.

They no longer have a dedicated fryer, it’s also used for vegan cheese curds which are not GF. They don’t have dedicated space in their kitchen but do their best to safely prepare GF dishes. GF beer on tap!

The regular menu is marked, but they also have a separate gf menu that’s a little clearer. They will cook your fries in separate oil if you ask, just takes a little longer.
Yes
Black bean burger is NOT gluten free, and not marked on the menu. Have gotten sick here nearly every time, but they try to be accommodating.
No
I've eaten here twice, and I haven't been sick. I did notice, however, that they include French fries that are fried in a shared fryer on their gluten free menu. There is a small warning on the other side of the menu that includes a warning about cross contact. But it's not super obvious on the menu. This could be why people get sick here.
Good food! The fries and chickenwings were cooked separately. Even the hamburger bun was glutenfree. I recommend this restaurant
I don't know what happened, maybe they changed chefs, but their quality of gluten free dishes has gone down since having been there last year. This year, out of the five different gluten free dishes we had, the only thing we found appetizing and somewhat good was their fish tacos. They do have a gluten free menu, however be sure to let your waiter know as one of the dishes that was brought out was contaminated with an obvious wheat product.
Yes
Overpriced with few choices.
A full page of gluten free options if you ask for it from the cashier. I got the curry and it was excellent, presentation was wonderful and colorful, and my gluten eating family thoroughly enjoyed their options. Will come back next time I pass through.
amazing fish tacos, very fresh - tasting food, and some gf beer and cider. They don't have a separate fryer so the fries, etc aren't completely gf, but they do note that on the menu. It's clear that they put some thought into their gf menu, which made me feel safe and comfortable.
had the most delicious fish tacos! and contrary to a previous reviewers comment, they told me any burger could be made on a GF bun. healthy, fresh ingredients and super yum!
Had a really good moroccan bowl. Enjoyed my lunch and had several things to choose from. No gfree buns or soy sauce they just omit them. Nice staff, good atmosphere.
love this place!
Nice variety. Fresh and flavorful.
