I needed a lunch, and I have lived VT country deli, but haven’t been here since my diagnosis so I didn’t know what to expect. They immediately asked if my bread could go in a shared toaster & for me, it can’t. They changed their gloves and checked the labels of the condiments to make sure they were safe. I am very pleased with my experience!

Headed back to the ferry from skiing and stopped and got a turkey sandwich which was great! The line was out the door and they took their time and asked if the bread could be shared in the same toaster. The server also changed her gloves and used a new knife. She also used a plastic knife for the condiments. The chili was also labeled gf.

Great sandwich, great service. Woman asked if it was okay to use a shared toaster. Same surface used as all other breads so X contamination wasn’t avoided. Which is fine with my body.

I had a great experience here. The woman who waited on me asked about my allergy and if she could toast my roll. I said no and she microwaved it on a towel. She changed her gloves and used new utensils to make my sandwich. They use yummy against the grain rolls (which have cheese if you are dairy free). Cross contamination is possible yet I felt like the woman who waited on me did everything she could to prevent it. I didn’t get sick. Only 4 stars because of the potential for cross contamination.
Not a lot to choose from. They always have Chili, Pulled pork, and other deli items. They may have GF bread but ate not allergy friendly. Most foods have dairy if they don't have GF
Staff was knowledgeable, pre made salads in the deli section were well labeled.
Gluten free rolls are a good first step but they are not knowledgeable about what has gluten and what does not in their deli. The girl waiting on me laughed when I asked.
