Got glutened. Sucks because I asked the staff and they told what was supposed to be gluten free. Luckily my worst symptoms came on AFTER the tour. When you have people coming from all over the world, spending lots of money, you should be more careful when it comes to food allergies. Options and knowledge are imperative when you serve such an enormous amount of people. I think it could have been the seasonings on the ribs that I ate. Sucks that my dream trip ended with a brutal stomach ache and an awful headache. Have to drive 12 hours back home tomorrow 😅

Do not go here! All meat has a non gluten free seasoning on it. There were not knowledgeable at all
— No gluten-free information on the menu
It’s not entirely clear when you’re in there as to what’s gluten free vs. what’s not. But thanks to this app I had some pork, beans and potatoes (minus gravy) and it was so good. No issues whatsoever!

There is a sign inside telling you all bbq meat is gf and the fried catfish is gf , as they say it is coated with corn products. Didn’t even try because I was worried about shared fryer. Had the pulled pork on a gf bun. Delicious and no reaction. There was also bbq chicken as a option. Workers seemed to know about Celiac and took my requests seriously

When I asked a worker what items are gluten-free he asked what gluten is then laughed and said “honey, you’re in the south. You’re not gonna find anything that doesn’t have gluten.”

I had the pork BBQ, baked beans, and mashed potatoes. They were excellent. There was a GF menu. The way they serve helps prevent cross contamination. Staff understood.
